Pretty sure I got lucky with a ride after 30 mins but overall it seemed like a tough exit though there's loads of traffic. Right out in the hot sun. There's a cardboard sign "missoula" waiting in the grass if you so care to use it!―Wavydavy

You'd think there'd be a lot of rides considering how busy it is, but no. Waited 3.5 hours with "EAST!" sign before cops came. They don't want you flying signs of any sort, but luckily got ride shortly after.―Anonymous

Heading west to Missoula. In theory not the best setup, it's a weird traffic pattern with not much traffic. That said, I had two offers to Couer d'Alene, and an offer to have a bus ticket purchased for me before I got a lift. All in all I waited less than half an hour. Starting at 9:45 on a Wednesday morning.
Held a sign for Montana <3

Nice ride from a guy who gave us a driving tour of Coeur D'Alene. A beautiful little town, though crawling with cops.―MossytheMuse

Not good, but maybe the best spot if you are stuck in the middle of Spokane. Better option might be to take busses all the way to Liberty Park. Woman who picked us up bought us 4 joints and 2 carts. Road magic. Made the wait kind of worth it.―MossytheMuse

Good spot but the vibes for hitchhiking in the panhandle were clearly off. Cops drove by at 10 minute intervals. The couple who picked us up was super chill, talked about art school, Ornithology, and DNA.―MossytheMuse
