Not the best spot to go south to Moscow/Pullman, but perhaps it was the time of day ... 9pm

At 11pm I ended up asking every single driver at this gas station if they were going south, most said no. Finally I landed a ride south ... funny because the driver drove really fast and passed all those liars that told me they weren't driving south!!

Westbound. A pretty crap spot, overall. I waited all day & had no ride offers. Spokane is damn difficult to get out of.

May be panhandlers along highway here. Waited maybe 20 minutes with "EAST!" sign. Got picked up by cool dude who gave me dab hits and drove me to Coeur d'Alene.
I have been told though it's hard to get out of Spokane

There was a weird traffic pattern that kept people really slow going on this highway. I still had to wait like three hours. Rough town to get out of.

Not a good place to get westbound; seems to only really be local traffic, and long rides don't really get off here. Ended up walking a few exits west.

On ramp heading East. I started at 9:30 on a Tuesday morning and had a ride towards Coeur d'Alene within ten minutes. Ended up only going to just before the Washington/Idaho border, since I didn't want to mess with hitching in Idaho.

Heading west to Missoula. In theory not the best setup, it's a weird traffic pattern with not much traffic.

That said, I had two offers to Couer d'Alene, and an offer to have a bus ticket purchased for me before I got a lift. All in all I waited less than half an hour. Starting at 9:45 on a Wednesday morning.

Held a sign for Montana <3

There is a sign past this point, that says no pedestrians past this point. This is a good spot.

Not good, but maybe the best spot if you are stuck in the middle of Spokane. Better option might be to take busses all the way to Liberty Park. Woman who picked us up bought us 4 joints and 2 carts. Road magic. Made the wait kind of worth it.

I started out early in the morning, and did alright.

Came out of Tyler and needed a ride into a main town with bus routes so I walked 2 ish miles down 904 till someone stopped
