Got dropped there because was at the outside of Roosevelt.Not many people stopping there and traffic was too fast without any shoulder to properly pull over.
I got lucky and a Native man who passed me came back and give me a ride all the way to Salt Lake City.
Small discussion but deep about travels and what we've been through life.

depending on the day and weather, you can land a ride fairly quickly, 45 minutes or less. the police have never stopped me and I've hitched here a number of times heading to Logan.―Incogitatus

There's a good spot heading east to sit right by the exit of the lot. I caught a ride only going into a Flying J in the city where I got stuck for two days. Definitely wish I'd stayed at this truck stop waiting for one out of Utah.―Kidindeed

Waited all day here, asked around the truck stop to see if they were heading west and if they could give me a lift. Got a lot of cold shoulders. It's against most truckers work policies to pick up hitchhikers so I was told too many times. Ended up getting the bus west to Wendover where it took 10 mins of waiting on an on-ramp to hitch a ride from a trucker to Reno.―Anonymous
