We got a ride with a group of 4 people to leoben (we are on out way to grass) the driver is going to liezen. There was another car that stopped to take our friend to another graz station to leave the city. Very recommended for going south.―Anonymous

In theory nice place to get outside off the city. It can be a little bit akward waiting there because some illegal workers are waiting close to the spot. But still we managed to get a ride outside of the city and from there we found easy a ride to graz. I recommend to plan some waiting time and to have the courage to ask people to give you a ride.―Lele

A bad spot but we were extremely lucky. We (M+F) got dropped off in Baden by our previous driver (we were trying to get from Czechia to Bosnia) so we were just trying to get out of there back on the hughway but a kind older lady took us all the way to Leibnitz.If you ever end up in Baden this bus station is the only possible spot to get on the highway I think.

We asked around the petrol station but there were just locals and nobody going longer distance on the highway so we eventually put up a sign to Wiener Neustadt and stood before the traffic lights on the opposite side of the crossroad. The cars have to stop there so they see you and they can wait for you on the bus stop or at the petrol station. A couple eventually took us but only to Baden (which was a mistake probably).―kamens64

Good spot for going west! Met the first other hitchhiker and we hitchhiked to a gas station near Linz together. It took one an a half hour to get a lift, but there was plenty of space for the cars to stop so it should eventually go quicker to find one.―Carl07

At first sight this place look hopleless dirty and dodgy I thought I never gonna get a ride from this gas station so with little expectations I tried to get a ride from a night bus station that is next to the shell gastation... Worked like charm in 20 mins straight ride to Graz―Mitris
