“Very good spot for hitching with a sign in the direction of Czechia, got a ride to Brno within 10 minutes. Lots of cars with Slovak number plates but some with Czech plates too. The spot is after a crossroad, so cars don't go too fast, and they can stop at the bus station that is following afterwards. Make sure your sign is big enough since the street is very wide. Also make sure to apply sunscree”

“To Brno, Praha. Gas station and parking with many cars and trucks. Ask truck drivers or cars at the gas station. I was lucky and found a direct ride to Dresden at the gas station after a rainy night in my tent a little bit up behind the restaurant (next to the street leading to the bridge). Police saw me, but didn't seem to bother that I camp there.”
