I went to Ohrid from Pogradec. I choosed not to go the way through Saint Naum Monastery, where there is less traffic.Several cars and buses came but they mainly showed me where the buses are. Then I was dropped off at the intersection between the road to Tirana and the one to Ohrid.

Entrance to the National Park. There are different fees depending on how high into the mountains you want to go. We just bought the cheapest and went up all the way anyway. Hitchhiking into the NP might take a while but is totally possible. The view is fantastic. Getting back might be an issue as there is extremely little traffic in the evening (2 cars/h). That was after the end of the Macedonian school holidays.―Anonymous
