I asked the first person if he could take me to Germany. He was super kind (a croatian man) and he gave me a great ride to Rosenheim

If you stand on the roundabout with a sign to Innsbruck, the cars can take the exit onto the parking lot.

First time hitchhiking and got a ride directly where we needed. Cars go slow after the roundabout, have a spot to stop on the right. Got picked up by an Austrian comming from the dolomites as there's only a few freeways through the mountains. Lots of cars in the summer.

trying to get out of the city towards italy, a friendly family picked me up and dropped me off at the innsbruck süd shell station :)) although most folks going through this area seem to be locals…

great spot, good visibility, loads of traffic heading out the city in most directions. avoid taking shorter distance lifts from here as it can be hard to hitchhike through Tirol villages. we took a lift to imst but you could probably get a ride as far as bludenz if yr patient or start early enough.

great spot for visibility, many truckers pass but no success with salzburg sign. after waiting 3 hours decided to just go to munich with 3 young guys who stopped.

first waited by eni but no one stopped as cars coming from left were concerned with merging and cars already on were going quite fast. this spot proved better for slow cars (and shade!) and kind person refuelling went into eni and made me a sign for salzburg!

We tried to Innsbruck but instead we ended up in this village ahh town haha. Anyways 2 young guys picked us up and gave us beers for free. It was awesome but I believe we were lucky I would recommend going to the nearest well rated hitching spot from here and stop there.

There is a bus stop and following a gas station. But: take a sign as ALL cars to the motorway are going this direction!

A gas station on the highway, accessible by using public transport and some walking. A good map of the city may be handy, you'll have to walk through a farm, but the times when I was there I got a within 15 minutes

To Munich, to Salzburg. After a "Shell" gasstation there is a place for active hhiking on a highway. I usualy didn't wait here longer then 15 minutes and truck arrived:)
