Decent spot, the gas station was full of uHaul trucks making it harder but the slow traffic after the light saved the Day.―Anonymous

Lots of traffic, but the wait time is surprisingly long, nobody wanted to stop. Shoulder is wide enough only if you go west. Beautiful view.―Anonymous

Get here early in the day to catch folks making a day trip to the Okanagan.Traffic volume is really low, but the percentage of drivers that are willing to stop is pretty high. I ended up getting a ride all the way to Kelowna.

There are stores, a place for cars to pull off, and kelowna city transit comes all the way down here.―Anonymous

Decent spot if heading west on the 97C. There is lots of room to pull over, and since traffic is now splitting on those going southbound and those going west, no sign is needed.―Anonymous

I have hitchhiked north from this spot multiple times. Even with two people I never had to wait more than 30 minutes. Go all the way to the gas station or stop even before, so that people may see you earlier. There is a traffic light which means traffic is slow half of the times. When I was there in early September 2015, maintenance was going on beside the road, making it easier using the right lane for hitchhiking. There also is a Tim Hortons right across the street.―Anonymous

Good spot if you are heading south. Many cars passing, but mainly tourists and "distatnt" people from Kelowna. It's right after a lights with lots of space to stop. This spot is reachable by public transportation. If you are going from downtown go to the Westbank exchange by bus 97 and after it take bus 22 to the Beach (but be aware bus 22 isn't so much frequen).

I waited here for 2 hours without succes. If you want to go East from Kelowna, it's better go through Hwy 97 (good spot is in Peachland, which is reachable by public trasportation) to Osoyoos and after to Hwy 1.―Anonymous

Didn't have any trouble here, having a sign helped and I got a ride almost immediately. Express bus gets you there from downtown.―DSLR
