First wait 35min, took a break and came back. Not the best spot. I got told by an agent de la route to get off the ramps, didn’t feel like risking a fine. Still got picked up!

Straight to Montreal, there is a safe place to stop before the no pedestrian sign.

Spot entre deux entrées direction Québec. Pas vraiment pratique, même si ce n'est que du passage dans cette direction.

Plutôt bon spot en direction de Québec. Je n'ai pas pu me positionner après le feu à cause des travaux.

First hitchhike in Quebec for me !

After the last big intersection of Talbot Boulevard in Chicoutimi, direction Quebec / Mtl.
Practical for the possibility of sheltering from the rain at the SAQ Sélection.

There is a Petro-Canada Gas Station at the exit of Dorval Terminal where many cars stops before leaving Montreal

Good to try, but sometimes you just can't get it there ! If you are out of the business hours, that's still the best one you can have.

Heading East, a bit further, but during business hours it might be more easy than the one on Marie-Victorin. It's in an industrial park.

There are not that many places where to hitch from in Montreal, but heading towards Ottawa (40W) this might prove a good try. I got a ride in a truck going to Pointe Claire. Very good when there is a lot of traffic as people can see you in the distance. They were very surprised to see a hitcher there. It is a bus stop for bus 100, which you can board at Crémazie metro station.
