There is big tourist sightseeing park near the river.ziping pu(紫坪铺）
I did try to get in cuz cost 90rmb,
In front of the Park,Hop on Bus 101.Ask the drive to drop you at yutang(玉堂）then ask local whch road to 映秀（ying xiu)
Go stragiht then turn left after 1st crossing,You should be at the Toll gate,I get ride before get the toll gate.

To wo long 卧龙go right at wait along the road,They may still built the road,traffic is light.
This area u can see the tibetians
usually they are very helpful.And this road you are taking can take you all the all the the border of Tibet.Eventhough u dont hv visa for tibet but those tibetian area is defintelly worthing to see,Amazing landscape and nice people.Few travelers even during the summer which is hottest season for chinese to cycling or hitchhiking to tibet.
The route is this.
chengdu--dujiangyan--yingxiu--wolong--ri long--xiaojin--dan ba--ba mei--dao fu --lu huo--wen da--se la--gan zi--ma ni gan ge---de ge --jiang da(Border of Tibet)---changdu------------Lhasa
Totally takes 13days for me to get lhsa/
It may takes you from chengdu ..8days to the border of tibet.,,
