We were waiting for about 40 minutes with “Zadar/Zagreb” sign and people didn’t stop. A girl picked us up and gave us a ride to the highway but told us that usually cars don’t stop there

Lots of tourists and locals drive thru this road but no one stopped to pick us up in 30 minutes. :/ We finally got a ride from an old man to Opuzen (we were going to Mostar).

Hitching along the coast towards Split. Not the fastest route, but much more scenic. Locals use this spot too. Enough room for 3 people.

last gas station before to the road to Zadar. Great station to be stop if you want to go to the North of Croatia. Lot of trafic.

I don't know if I was really lucky but I found(ask around) ride 150 km. That guy went to the Zagreb.
Bur drivers that I asked before, they were locals.
