Nice bus stop. Bunch of cars with families or old couples that won't stop and the cool kids cars are already packed. Aimed for Zagreb but accepted Zadar and took the bus there.―tonyk

2 guys with backpacks, we tried the hitchhike spot from the guy from 2013 and it still kinda works. High traffic, drivers have nice place to stop, but very very low success rate. Waited 135 minutes until we got a ride to Zagreb. Got 2 signs: "Zagreb" and "highway".Got there by bus from Zadar from the main bus station. It was bus number 4 but these things change over time. Just get to the main bus station and I strongly believe you will manage.
Long wait but got all the way to Zagreb

2 guys with backpacks, hitchhiked to Zadar with sign Zadar. It's a sunny spot (sunscreen recommended)
High traffic going slow and cars have a nice spot to stop
Very very low success rate tho...took us 90 minutes even with high traffic

Mostly all local plates and some to Zagreb. Most people didn’t look at me, tough crowd. Little shade place to protect yourself from the sun. After two hours I just walked to the station and got a bus.―AriAri

Good spot, some shade from the electrical house. Loads of traffic that can stop at a bus station.―Tijmen

Good Spot with a place for people to stop. You could also press the traffic light, if you are mean haha―Con

Wanted to go to Split but in Mai it‘s not much people driving south especially at this place. I recommend going to Zadar and hitchhiking from there to Split or Sikebenik:)―Con

Many cars going to Rjeka, Pula and Zagreb, not many going south. Also lots of Romanians and Bosnians, but most cars don’t have a whole lot of space, so better for solo travelers. Got a ride to Zagreb after asking someone with the right numberplate. Nice and helpful staff at the gas station―Inni

Seems like a nice spot, but barely anyone stopped. First tried with thump, then got a sign (ŠI).―Suip

Many people signalled me strange signs, but after a long while I got a ride all the way to Zadar along the coast. The wind was very strong and cold at that time of year.―Suip

The cars go slowly there, plenty of time to decide and plenty of space to stop. I got a ride from an Uber driver (didn't have to pay ofc hehe) and some interesting life advices. :)―Petr

I think you will always find a ride to Split on this spot. But it might take a litl while, I waited for an hour or so.―FreekVO

We've waited here 1,5h on Saturday's evening with no luck. Managed to come back in the morning but our plans changed so we didn't test this spot properly in the end.―Burrito

Cars go fast and a lot of local traffic. Also no shade, so the sun is relentless in summer. We stood here for a few hours fruitlessly, before heading in the other direction.―Martinsltopf

August 2015, got a ride in one hour and half. It was end of afternoon and dark. A local next to the spot bring us cakes tho.―Puckman
