Easy rides to Dugopolje toll booth (cestarina), from where you can continue towards Zagreb or Dubrovnik. With a sign "Dugopolje" you get a ride in 15 minutes, because many of the cars are going to Sinj and other nearby towns.―Anonymous

I was ther for an hour or so and I dont think its a good spot: it is still centre of the town, there are many buses and local divers. There some international cars but mostly when a ferry arives to the port. I walked out of the town and got a ride in 15 mins―Zdzich

Not easy to do Split-Zadar by the coast! Favor the Highway!!But you will be caught by tourists.

Good spot, it is the magistrale on the coast. Some people stop there to park an swim, but we got a ride directly to split. If you don‘t get a ride, there‘s enough shadow, you can swim, there is dixies, and you have a nice place to put tent or hammok nearby.―L

We got very lucky and we got picked up really soon, by a local woman who used to hitchhike too. It is a bus stop, so it works everytime. Sign for Split.―adeljindrova
