Quite a lot of traffic, the best option when coming from west-fyn heading towards cph

It took me just a few minutes to find a Polish truck heading to the island of Fyn in Denmark. This spot is nice, and there are plenty of cars here.

Great spot, there is a lot of cars going to Denmark. I got a polish truck going all the way to the Fyn island, which was good spot as well.

Not a bad spot, I hitched a Porsche all the way to the German border. Ask around, somebody will get you a ride.

Not many cars going towards Svendborg, or the people just didn’t take us, but we did find a ride fairly quickly.

There’s place for the cars to stop and at that moment there was a traffic jam so all the cars were moving there very slowly.

Waited with "Odense" sign. Drivers can see you when stopping at the intersection and there is plenty of room to pull over safely.

Really nice place, use this instead of the big roundabout. There's a McDonalds nearby, so lots of traffic here.

This roundabout is HUGE, so try to avoid it. Cars are driving really fast, and it's quite senseless to try your hitching luck here.
Go to the next entrance instead, it's only 1.5 km away.

Good place to start from Odense, just stand on the upper side of ramp. Cars go pretty slowly, a lot of place them to stop.

We went there with my girlfriend and stood here for 3 hours with sign Copenhagen. 2 cars stopped, but... they offered us only 15 km ride. :(

I already had hitchhiked here to go from Odense to Copenhagen two times. The first one with a girl (i´m a boy, btw), and for been our first time we end up walking down to the highway (where is illegal to hitchhike) but anyways after 10 minutes someone picked us up to Slagelse. the driver called us "crazy" for being hitchhiking there and called himselve "crazy" for picking us up there, because both things are illegal. But no matter, sometimes you will not have options and you will end up having to hitchhike on the highways and the people still will pick you up (at least it has been happening to me).
The second time that I hitchhiked in this way I was alone and just after arriving, 3 minutes waiting, and a BMW picked me up straight to CPH.
I recorded some videos showing this spots during my trips, you can watch them to get some more information or see this spots. If you do, just type on youtube something like "leo carona" + "hitchhiking from odense to copenhagen" and voi là. Good luck!

I forgot to mention: when you hitchhike here at least during the summer around 4 pm or later, you have the sun hitting your eyes. It's very uncomfortable and you tend to make expressions as if you were mad but it might be better than putting sun glasses on what stops you of doing eye contact with the drivers (what is important when hitchhiking, I think)

Same as Guussjaak, though got a ride after 10min...

I got dropped off here by happenstance, not having check hitchwiki. Great! Got a life in 5 minutes. Just make sure the driver knows that you don't want to be left on the motorve.

Not the best place and slightly dangerous, it is where cars are pulling up to gain speed. After 50 mins got picked up, could go all the way to sweden (Malmo).
The next one 1,5km away looks and is indeed better, but I waited 1 hour without success there (and then moved here)

This is my usual "switching point" when going from Kolding to Copenhagen, never any problems and always on the road again in no time. Best place on Fyn!

Great place if going to Svendborg

Oh, and better you hitchhike on the ramp, it´s perfectly possible as you can see for this second experience that took me 3 minutes til someone pull over.

Alright, last weekend I tried hitchhiking here again but this time with more 3 friends but it took about 2h30min until someone pick us up towards Koge. But I believe it took so long because we were 4 dudes. And of course the first car stopped and picked up 2 of us, and soon (it probably became easier as now it was only 2 hitchhiking) a second car stopped for the other 2 guys. I still think this is a very good spot, even though I never tried others to go in this direction ;)
