Two nice people stopped me when getting off the ferry asking where I was going. I said Tønder, but they were only going to Gråsten. When we reached Gråsten, the very nice man asked if I didn't just want a ride all the way to Tønder. Very very nice of him.

There are only room for less than 20 cars on each departure to Fyn, and the ferry only leaves approx. every 2 hours. I ended up paying (57 kr.) to walk on board.
On the ferry I got a direct lift to Odense.

Great place to start out from Sønderborg going anywhere. I have used this place with great success to go to either Germany, Copenhagen or Aarhus. One time i was even offered a ride all the way to Copenhagen. Great space for people to pull over.
