Towards Jyväskylä. Quite busy morning traffic, but most of the cars and virtually all the cars on the closer lane were heading to Helsinki. Important to have a clear sign visible to the cars on the further lane coming from ABC.―Anonymous

I was lucky to catch something to next station, but I would not say that this is a great spot.―Anonymous

Right before the ramp to the motorway. You will have to stand behind the small fence and there is no specially safe place for cars to stop, but the place is still ok.―Anonymous

I wouldn't recommend this, but rather the busstop only about then metres before! It's much safer!―Tokio Baby

If you hitchhike here, a sign is necessary. I tried for about 15 minutes, but preferred going to the highway entrance.―Bonkers1990

A bus stop, both the cars from the ABC petrolstation and from Lahti go through here. And the cars can you see you at the lights...―Anonymous

The place is OK. Quite good visibility and some place to stop. I took me 45 minutes to get a ride tough (with a sign saying '20 km' and flowers)―Anonymous

Agree with all of the comments above, only downside are the buses stopping here (like every 5 minutes), then cars cannot see you…―jachymak

Probably a great spot if you want to go to helsinki (two cars stopped within one hour and offered to take me there, and many slowed down to read my sign that said "Jyväskylä" and shook their heads).no one stopped for jyväskylä, but the bus stop in the other direction is convenient for getting to stop'n go grill (see there for further comments).

Got a lift til Lahti in 60mins, and several offers to get taken to the highway.I stood just _before_ the traffic lights, which was recommend to me by a local passing by. (maybe that's good because drivers don't accelerate yet, don't have to stop at the bus station (where indeed many busses stop), and still have enough time to pull over into the empty space next to the street (which at this point is still within in city limits so no need to worry about "stopping on the highway") idk.)
