I always take this spot to go to Yverdon/Lausanne or further (Geneva or France). There is not as many cars as you would imagine, but at some point people stop, and there is plenty of room for them to stop :)―Acab13120

Briançon. Si vous allez vers Grenoble, ce spot est plus que correct.En sortant de la ville,suivre les panneaux indiquant Grenoble par la D1091, 100 mètres après le virage du McDonald, lever le pouce sur le trottoir, les voitures ne vont pas vite et ont beaucoup de place pour s'arrêter dans sur le bas-côté en face d'un magasin.
Heading to Grenoble : Follow the 'Grenoble' sign and 100 meters after the McDonald's turn, there's a big side for the cars to stop.

A very good place. I've been taken in 5 minutes.There is a huge space for cars to stop and it's often full of traverllers and camping-cars that you can ask to go toward the south to Briançon or Gap or Marseille.
