There is a lot of traffic, but the traffic light is really fast. The people are not very nice and don’t easily give rides to strangers. However, some people are kind and might offer you a lift."

Pretty decent place if you can get dropped of here, not so much if you have to walk to it.

Because there is only a onramp no oframp I tried hitching to the next one. Road seemed a bit dodgy to walk. Gave up after 16 minutes and took the long hike to the onramp with the three roundabouts. Try to get dropped of there in the first place, because it's not an easy route.

I didn't enjoy hitching there, but you can't argue the results. I stood after the pedestrian crossing to stand out from the crowd, but I gues you could go before and ask the drivers waiting on the red light. I had sign "A10".

Had a sign "Paris". It's not a huge service station but there's some traffic.

I waited about 5 minutes at the exit of the station, with a sign saying "A10", and got a lift to Chatellereault (near Poitiers). A few cars even stopped before that but were not able to help me. Many people heading to the south, and a lot of truckers are resting. Go ahead and ask them, many of them go to Spain ! 👍

I waited there about 2 hours on a wednesday afternoon, but I think that it is pretty decent for Paris. Initially I had a sign with A10 / Bordeaux / Aire de Limours written on it, but then I switched to keep only A10 and much more cars stopped, until I was taken to the Limours gas station. Nice shady little wating spot, with space for cars to stop. Good luck 😉

good spot for paris, great spot for north east in the summer. many cars were full, loads of benelux and german license plates from homecoming holiday go-ers, if you are looking for a ride to paris, better to hunt down plates with 75 than to stand at the entrance to the petrol station. if talking to french drivers ask for direction paris as opposed to paris itself, they might be more likely to give a ride. we saw other hitchers here but they ignored us.

If you want to get on the A13 towards Normandie this is the only good spot. Stand on the sidewalk and hold a sign saying A13. Cars can stop on the right lane or drive off the road next to the parking garage.

Was with a friend with a sign "Angers", found a car directly going to Paris (actually he was going to Nuremberg) so that was quite the luck! But this spot never failed me.

Best spot to go to Paris but hard to access! I had to walk 1h from Zamenhof (there's a bus stop to the name of the founder of Esperanto lol) to arrive but this is really worth it cause once you're there you'll find very quickly a ride.

Je suis une femme, voyageant seule, jour pluvieux, départ de vacances, beaucoup de voitures sont passées sans me prendre.

Catch a train from Paris (sorry, can't
remember the station) to Massy
Palaiseau, walk out onto the road
running past the front of the station
building (Ave. Carnot), turn right and walk down to a
small roundabout then on a bit until you're practically under the Freeway flyover. Worked well for us, quite a few people stopped but we had to wait a couple of hours for a good lift.

Fairly good, and reachable with one ticket if you're already in zone 3 (Bus 319)
