Good spot, waited a bit longer than expected, but worth it. A couple took us to Perpignan, directly in front of our accomodation. We (2) had a sign Perpi, because of space in our notebook.―Anonymous

Good if you are heading south. For traveling north to Montpelier, i wouldn't suggest this. Took almost 2 hours. Cars are slow when exiting the peage but then speed up rapidly to cross into their preferred lane, and as the northbound side is on the left, it's difficult for them to stop. Got a trucker ignore all the mess behind him who picked me up, luckily.

To get to this spot you have to cross over a non-pedestrian zone (shortly). It is pretty exposed to weather and cars don’t have an ideal place to pull over but I got lucky within 20 minutes.
I got a ride to the nearest northern toll station.

From Cap Rousillon, fairly easy to get to, just ignore google telling you to walk for over an hour and cut the field after passing D900. Tried to go for Lyon/Paris but noone picked us up for 1,5h. We got a ride 20mins after changing it to Montpellier. Tons of space to stop.―wojtekox

mother with daughter took us and said that she is going to Barcelona, loud music, windows down, hurricane at back seats, stoped few kilometres behind border in Ia Jonquera and without any speach she went to shop. so did we, the prices were so low, must have, little chaotic, but good vibe after all―Anonymous

We first tried at the gas station, that was really bad, this spot is really good when there are no trucks parked there. The moment the trucks left we had a ride pretty quick―Anonymous

good spot. I waited shortly in front of the paying machines on the right side of the street. After about 50 minutes I got a ride to Montpellier. This spot is good to reach. No problem to walk there.―flyingfelix

Long walk from Perpignan, but one of the nicest walks you'll ever have. Getting to this side of the Peage involves jumping a creek and climbing a fence!―Anonymous
