Good place, next to parking, cars going slow and have space to stop. Lot of cars going to Marseille direction or Montpellier. One guy took us (2) from here to toll behind Montpellier, which wasn’t the best idea, because of legality and cars start going there faster. So we jumped the fence and found another place where it was much more safer and comfy. Try to stay on highway if you go long distances and petrol stations as well. Had a sign Montpellier―Anonymous

A lot of traffic going around, but mainly locals, so we (2) made a sign Nîmes, to continue from town to town. There we continued through Montpellier and Perpignan.―Anonymous

Good spot to stop someone who goes to Arles or maybe further. With a sign Arles it was easy. There we continued through Nimes, Montpellier and Perpignan.―Anonymous

Very bad spot, parking for 10-20 cars and a toilet. Waited more than an hour, almost no cars passing and the ones who did either didn't have place or said they couldn't take me so I decided to jump the fence and go to Milhaud where I bought a TER ticket for 5€ to Avignon.―Anonymous

Very easy and fast to get a ride (was standing with a sign to Lyon after the last roundabout) but ask where exactly the driver is going before getting in the car as the guy who picked me up said he's not going all the way to Lyon and then on the way said he's going to Nice and can bring me to the next Aire which was very small and impossible to get out of.―Anonymous

To Aix/Marseille or Montpellier:Near the commercial center (Carrefour), Ã the toll. Most of the people take this toll to drive on the highway. Don't go to the other toll!
I waited less than 10mn.

If you are going to Marseille, Toulon, Aix en Provence or Nice, put a cartoon with "Arles", then you will be on the direction :)―Amede74

L'endroit est génial pour faire du stop. On peut legalement se placer avant le péage.J'ai fais du stop ici à deux reprises pour deux differentes directions et n'y ai attendu que 5 minutes les deux fois.
JUILLET 2017 direction AIX-EN-PROVENCE
SEPTEMBRE 2017 direction LYON
