It is a good place. But we wanted to go to the Germany. There were many Germans on the gas station and they were completely full. So we waited there a long time. After that we got a long ride. Got a ride to Nuremberg after 30 mins.By far the best spot to leave the Rhein-Neckar area in direction south and east. Take S9 from Mannheim and walk to the spot. The gate is open

After getting there by bus & train and walking about 25min, we stood at the first exit, where you get all the cars going both to the highway or to the petrol station.
