Decent spot there is a small Restaurant and a electriccharging Station
We were there in summer so quite some traffic. A lot of people went up north to Rostock but also some to Hamburg yeah

Quiete a good spot towards Denmark and Sweden, unfortunately I arrived at 5 pm at Buddikate Ost and until I gave up at 8 pm I want able to get a lift towards the ferry in Puttgarden, quiet soon after arriving at the petrol station though I met multiple truck driver who would head towards Sweden the next morning (I thought that I would be able to catch a ride that evening so I didn't paided sufficient attention to this). After sleeping in my tent I got up the next morning and was able to catch a ride after waiting for two hours

Got a ride to my destination Buddikate. A sweet young couple brought me there after I asked the man for a ride towards Lübeck.

I came from Berlin and wanted to go near Hamburg, but my lift was going to drive to Rostock, so i had to decide between this an the next rest stop before Wittstock. I went here, because this was a quite big one. I waited around 1h before a guy took me all the way to Hamburg. You may have to wait a bit even in easter holidays, but there are many cars getting fuel or people eating burgers.

Petrol station southwards. A great place to head south to Hannover, Göttingen, Kassel. Or maybe east towards Berlin.
Waiting time: 5-? min.

We accepted a short ride to Stillhorn petrol station, just south of Hamburg centre. Seems better to stay at this one tough, more traffic. Needed to get to Hannover but we got offered a ride all the way to Belgium :)

A lot of cars that go to Lübeck or east towards Rostock.
I tried to get to Fehmarn though and it took me a long time to find a car to bring me to the next gas station at least. If you try to get onto the ferry in Fehmarn, your best bet is to get to the gasstation "Neustädter Bucht" first.

Agree with the above comment, made a mistake by standing with a sign saying "DK" and in the end accepted a ride to Lübeck. Got offer also for Rostock.

Quickly got a ride torwards Putgarden which is the ferry port to Denmark. If you stay in the car or ask some people at the ferry port you can spare your money since the fee for the ferry is only per car not person :) Look out for foreing number plates such as Denmark, Sweden or Norway to get good rides.
