the lady in the petrol station was really nice and gave me a free mini pizza :-) tried signing from the end of the stop for about twenty minutes and then the first people i asked for a lift took me to nurenburg. lots of trucks stopped here leaving frankfurt and the car park was nearly full.

There's plenty of space for cars to pull over, but not much traffic, waited about 1.5 hours to get a ride to the A9

Trying to hitchhike to Frankfurt we stood next to the road with sign and thumb. Got a ride after 45 minutes to a petrol station close to nürnberg to continue our journey.

A lot of cars stop there on trafficlight and before you go thru everone and back to start of the trafficlight is read again and u have new cars and people to thumb.
And as a bonus: guy who took me gave mi coffe at his house then throw me to gasstation. (BEST WAY to get SOUTH)

Easy to stop cars going Münch or Nürinburg (me going Münch). There is parkinglot, fastfood, diner and gas station and only one way for the high way. Cars go nice and slow and have good visableity on you.
