Got a ride with the second car I asked. Not a lot of cars at around 10:00 in the morning on a friday. Lots of polish car signs and trucks, the people I asked were heading towards Karlsruhe and Ulm.

I was there on a Friday 8:00 in the morning. Not a lot going on, but I got a ride with the first person I asked. (I‘m a young german woman)

july, friday around 2PM, i spent some time trying to go up to people and ask for a lift, but theres people everywhere, loads of families with a full car, many people didnt speak english
i dunno if was only a matter or timing, but soon after i moved to the entrance of the highway, 3 cars stopped in one minute
the 3rd was going in my direction and drove me to nurnberg
free toilet and free water in the truck parking lot
dont be fooled by the expansive shop

the lady in the petrol station was really nice and gave me a free mini pizza :-) tried signing from the end of the stop for about twenty minutes and then the first people i asked for a lift took me to nurenburg. lots of trucks stopped here leaving frankfurt and the car park was nearly full.

We waited at the bezina agip closer to Feucht, but then we decided to walk to the bigger parking spot and asked an older lady that took us straight away, was very nice

Feels a bit sketchy, but the drivers feel more pressured to take you with them. And they have the time to think and let you in as they wait at the light.

Good spot when going to Czechia. Just look for Czech license plates and ask.

I was there late in the evening, not much traffic and idea was to spend a night there if nobody stops. Surprisingly this was one of the best hitchhiking experience, two local girls approached me interested wtf I am doing and invited me to their place for dinner and sleepover. The next morning it was quite easy to find a ride.

First ride over 2,000 km (2,217.0). With a woman who let me sleep in the car overnight in YU. Five stars, waiting time short, probably not at the spot that was here in 1986, and long ride.

If you want to hitchhike from Nuremberg to Munich or elsewhere south and you don´t know nobody with a car - this is my hotspot. Just take the S-Bahn Nr. 3 to Feucht and then you can walk to this servicestation - directly on the motorway (germ. Autobahn)Just follow the Schwarzenbrucker Straße and turn left (uphill) after the first bridge but befor the next railroad bridge.

For me there is just one disatvantage if you are in a hurry - from the S-Bahn station Feucht to the servicestation you´ll need around 45 min.
