Nice spot for Nurnberg, we just hang around the gas station where cars could safely park and got taken to restplatz under Wurzburg (bad if you want to go more south)

Nice spot, alot of cars going to Germany, harder to get too, you need to go through a field and climb over a small fence. We got a ride to Schwandorf.

Hard to reach (bus 4euro, no path from field, fence). People come here to pee on trees, you can talk to them.

It's very hard to hitch this local road towards Czech Republic. I waited one hour here, one hour a little further and a little further and in the end gave up and took a train. The road towards Czech Republic has no gas station whatsoever.

I´ve never hiked from this place, but since i´m originally from schwandorf and have some hitchhiking experience i would propose this location. here is a new gas station right in front of the highway. since i think the best way to hichhike is to talk to people directly this should be the best place. good luck

Little parking place. Not many cars stopped there.

Direction CHAM - PLZEN.

Bretelle d'entrée du 22 voies.
Trafic calme.
Place suffisante pour s'arrêter.

Once have been "dropped" at the OMV station, it was no longer possible for the two of us to hitchhike on the A93 towards Regensburg. The busy road is fenced all the way around and crossing it would be very dangerous. The driveway is also leading in many directions from there what makes it difficult to hitchhike with a sign. Through a conversation, we were able to get a lift to the McDonald's on the opposite side of the road and continue from there.

Directly behind the McDonald's is a "natural" parking bay free of grass, which was obviously often used dir Card to stop beide heading to the highway. For the drive via the A93 - direction south we got a lift directly to Regensburg in only 15min. In the afternoon it is easy to go with the rush hour Traffic.
