Take a bus number 2, and you find a petrol station or you can hitchhike on the road too. Good if going towards KaposvÃ¡r.

Take the bus 2 until "Budai vám"! There is a big tesco, you cant miss it. You have to walk towards about 500 meters, and there will be a bus stop, where you can hichhike, also you can go another 200 meters, completely out of the town, where - as i know - the local students usually hichhiking.

I was hiching at the bus station, its at the bottom of a slight slope, so drivers are seeing you quite far from the bus stop. Maybe it is better, they have enough time to decide :).
