A loooot of space to stop but some cars (more locals) go very fast so should bet on tourists to stop more. But after hour got a ride straight to the coast. Very nice. There is a restaurant a bit further on the road with plenty of space to stop. Cars will go slower for sure because its on incline but maybe less willing to stop because of that? Very good spot with the cars and trucks coming from the ferry. You can go to the ferry from Kotor for only 1,50€ and then it's free for pedestrians.Got a ride in less than 2 minutes in a truck who dropped me before the border, picked me up just after to go to the croatian border and again picked me up back after the border to go directly to Dubrovnik.
You can cross the border by walking (more than 1 km in a hill) or by hitchhiking.
