Good place to stop, good amount of traffic.

Lots of traffic, not ideal to stop but drivers do it anyway. Had a sign saying Kotor

A nice couple picked me up literally the minute I put up my sign to Trebinje and luckily drove me all the way to Montenegro. Good spot, enough time for drivers to see you, also enough space to stop.

We walked here from the ferry, we tried hitchhiking at the ferry, but no luck. Here we waited mby 30 minutes, nice place to stop.

weird spot, we waited at the intersection of the second road up the hill and got a car to Tivat, but I dont really like the spot, but there is not much other options tbh

Great spot - very large area to stop, good visibility, high traffic, medium speeds and even some shade from the billboards. It's also not so far away from Kotor city centre. Very good to get to Budva and beyond.

More people go here to Budva (then Podgorica) than through the tunnel. A lot of space to stop and cars are going at a good pace. Definitely recommend

Cars pass you more or less slow. Found a ride to Kotor.

I simply asked in the parking lot and very quickly found two guys heading westward, so I hitched with them to Merdari (to walk down to the rocky beach to snorkel). But if you stand by the road for westbound traffic, there's a huge pullout too that'd be easy for cars to stop. No shade though

This is a great spot for snorkeling btw, super clear water and no one is here. Saw lots of fish, sea urchins, crabs, sea stars etc

Camped here, and the next morning a fisherman came by to collect salt off the tide pools. He offered me a ride on his boat to Plavi Horizonti, where I could catch the Blueline bus back to Tivat

Managed to get a ride quite quickly. High traffic, with a sign BUDVA/TIVAT, we got a ride to Budva. No shade, but some space for the drivers to pull over.

Great place if u want to head to Dubrovnik, less so if u want to head to Montenegro. On Friday, midday, we spend here more than 3hours waiting for a ride to Herzeg Novi, with a sign BUDVA/HERZEG NOVI. Lot of cars going to Dubrovnik, not so many cars going to Montenegro.

Ride to Kotor. Enough space here to pull in and see you. I was driven by a local gentleman with perfect English

Long wait. My friend got a ride first. Then twenty minutes later I was away too. Taken halfway to Kotor

Enough place to stop, some trees provide shadow.
Got picked up by three irish women who went to Kotor.

Risan has a popular market, I was told a lot of people from Niksic come to buy stuff here, so it might be a good spot to go up North.
Got a ride to Durmitor directly, from a tourist.
Enough place for cars to stop, there is a big band of grass and dirt where cars stop.

A loooot of space to stop but some cars (more locals) go very fast so should bet on tourists to stop more. But after hour got a ride straight to the coast. Very nice. There is a restaurant a bit further on the road with plenty of space to stop. Cars will go slower for sure because its on incline but maybe less willing to stop because of that? Idk tbh
