Slow cars, space to stops, it's about 50/50 which way of the E16 the cars go. Mainly people from the town I think, so I'm not sure how good it is for long distances. Has a sign with E16 and an arrow to the north west.―Bigworldsmallsarah

Good spot for going to the E16. It's legal and there's space to stop, and you know that everyone driving there will take the E16. You can ask any driver going West to drop you off there. I got a ride to Hønefoss there. Didn't use a sign.―Bigworldsmallsarah

A guy and a girl on a Wednesday afternoon without a sign. This spot is a good gas station with food, toilet and a nice view. Two cars offered to take us to Hønefoss, but we tried to get past it due to the bad hitchmap reviews of Hønefoss. We eventually got a ride to Gol.―JumpingRabbit

A guy and a girl on a Wednesday afternoon without a sign. There's a bus stop for cars to stop, but cars go a little fast. We were taken to the gas station of Vik.―JumpingRabbit

Waited for 2,5 hours. Then gave up, started walking towards a other spot but over estimated the distance. Then decided to take the bus to Sogndal since it was 4 hours before sunset and it is 5 hours nonstop driving. (didn't had a sign)―Kijm001

Large truck/bus stop here, all the traffic towards Oslo passes―Anonymous

Larger bus stop. All traffic from Hønefoss towards Oslo passes here. Locals meet here to ride with buddies. Less long-distance/trucker traffic than on the highway below.―Anonymous

Very good spot on a bus stop on the top of the hill so cars drive slowly.―Anonymous
