Good spot but a lot of local traffic and cara drive quite fast. Waited 35 minutes for a ride to Stjørdalen.

I walked arround and asked for a ride north for about 25 mins before i got lucky and caught a direct ride to Trondheim. There is not too mutch traffic but there where some cars going far north.

First, I hitched a ride on the nearby parking and found a car going directly to Narvik (my destination), hopped in, and immediately got the biggest emotional rollercoaster ever. He chose the Swedish route, but I wanted to use the Norwegian route with the beautiful views. I decided not to go with him, and after hitching for a few minutes directly on the highway, I got a ride from the city.

Cars go pretty fast, but they can see you clearly, and it's a bus stop, so they can easily pull over. A sign Stjordal. The guy brought me to a better place than this one. Maybe I just got lucky, but it is a decent spot.

This was my luck spot, BUT check if there is still a construction site here. There is a construction traffic light, and cars have to stop. It's the main route, and from time to time, there are roadworks, which are, in my opinion, the best places to hitch around here. I found a car all the way to Trondheim. Btw: there is a cool urbex place nearby, an old house, so if you end up here, you might as well check it out.

TONs of traffic w/ Norwegians going to the city after harryhandel. Raining hard and some lady took pity on me and picked me up near-instantly, but I don’t expect it would take long otherwise
