TONs of traffic w/ Norwegians going to the city after harryhandel. Raining hard and some lady took pity on me and picked me up near-instantly, but I don’t expect it would take long otherwise

Very good spot to spend the night and to hitchhike, although the bar is an expensive one.

A lady offered to buy me a train ticket to Åsen but I refused and then I found a car going to Steinkjer.

Good place for heading towards Trondheim! Cars go 50 km/h and there is good space to stop!

This is where the trucks get loaded. You can ask the drivers for a ride.

Direction: south. If you spent the night in the Moholt student village or for some other reason are in this area, you might as well try to start from this highway entrance if you're going south. I have not tried it yet, but next time I will defenitely start from here before walking around for hours trying to find a better place (which you probably won't)

Dir: North. Cars do go fast, but they can see you fairly well and I didn't wait long.

This seemed the best spot to get out of Stordal. There is a round with enough space for cars to pull over.

It is very difficult to impossible to catch a ride along the E6 in Trondheim. The road has two lanes, cars go very fast and bus stops are separated from the road, so it's not easy to stop.
