An awesome spot. It's in the town, so the cars are slow, you can be seen from a distance, and there is a bus stop to pull over directly on the highway. Maybe it's even worth it to write something further north. Especially in the tourist season, there are a lot of long-range rides.―martih

Decent spot, great visibility, not so fast cars, big spot to pull over. Try to get at least a ride to the city, and find a better ride there.―martih

First, I hitched a ride on the nearby parking and found a car going directly to Narvik (my destination), hopped in, and immediately got the biggest emotional rollercoaster ever. He chose the Swedish route, but I wanted to use the Norwegian route with the beautiful views. I decided not to go with him, and after hitching for a few minutes directly on the highway, I got a ride from the city.―martih

I was lucky after asking someone. The gas station is not really visible but it could work out because people are not driving that fast here.―Thomontrip

Went there because it was marked here. Didn't see any place where a car could stop. Walked 4km south to a rest area and got a ride immediately there.―roadlifehacks

Walked here from Steinkjer as there didn't seem to be a good spot. Rest area with toilets. First person I asked gave a ride.―roadlifehacks

visibility good, speed okish, only place for cars to stop is on the lane leaving the road (still possible without blocking it).―roadlifehacks

Dir: North (E6). Here is a bus stop where cars can stop. You could also choose to take road 17, which is a lot slower but supposed to be very pretty―Anonymous

There is a curve that makes it harder for cars to stop. I was lucky because a villager felt sorry for me and gave me a ride to Steinkjer. In generell it does not look like a bad spot, but it feels like one.―Anonymous

Dir: north, summer.Bus stop so enough space to pull over, cars going slower as it's through a town, decent visibility.

The only viable spot getting out of Majavatn if youre going south. There is a very beautiful beach to camp near the lake and the water is crystal clear, perfect if theres good weather.―Venick8827

Nice spot where car can pull over. We were standing with a Steinkjer sign and someone took us to that city. The shop on the other side of the road is closed on Sunday.―Mat6
