I believe most traffic is going to the Katowice area, but Krakow is not too hard either. As of august 2025 the hole is still there just before the woods that are close to the exit.―Arphile

Arguably one of the best spots in Poland. Great to catch a ride towards Wrocław or Katowice. With some luck you can also find a driver going to Kielce, Lublin, Rzeszów or even Ukraine or Czech Republic.I believe there was a hole in the fence, close to the exit in the bushes. Just go along the fence and you'll find it.

There is a lot of local traffic, it's definitely better to hitchhike from the exits when going to Warsaw―emmet

Great spot to go to Wrocław.The only thing is, if you want to start from here, and you want to reach the place by bus from Lodz, you have to go through the fence because the gate to the station area is usually closed
