One male 40+, no sign, one big backpack, a very sunny day. On my way from the mountain pass Muşat 20 kms west of here to Oneşti (successful). No shade and it was a very hot day 🥵
Otherwise the place was great. Very good visibility. A tarmac bay. Decent traffic. But cars were coming in waves for some reason. I don't know why it took 40 minutes to get a ride. It's not tragic, but it looked lake 10-20 minuts spot. Anyways, I got where I wanted and it was the most important 😃

One male 40+, no sign, one big backpack, a sunny day. On my way from here to Oneşti (successful).A bit of shade. The was a small place to pull over, but not really necessary coz the traffic wasn't busy at all. The 3rd car passing after 10 minutes of waiting took me.
I was thinking to mark this spot as very bad, coz just around the corner (100-200 metres away) there were two bears hanging out by the road. What's interesting the cars going the opposite way were slowing and telling me about them, but nobody offered a ride to take me away from that spot.
The driver who took me was very nice and picked a bit longer route to drop me in Tinoasa, where there was a junction where I got another ride straight to Oneşti.

One male 40+, no sign, one big backpack, a sunny day. On my way from Covasna to Comandău.The was a place to pull over (the entrance to a car park). Very good visibility. The traffic was pretty slow, so I had to wait a bit (30 minutes), but luckily there was shade. Most drivers were showing me that they are not going far. But after 30 minutes I finally got a car going to Comandău, which took me there.

One male 40+, no sign, one big backpack, a sunny day. On my way from lake Siriu to Covasna (successful).Until this point the hitchhiking was going smoothly (short waits). Here I got stuck for a bit. It wasn't superb long - 40 minutes, but in strong sun it wasn't a pleasant wait.
There is a bit of a bay to pull over. No shade. Slow traffic. But a few cars have passed me there. After 40 minutes of waiting I decided to start walking. And the moment I put the backpack on and walked maybe for a minute, the first car stopped and took me to Covasna.

One male 40+, no sign, one big backpack, a sunny day. On my way from lake Siriu to Covasna (successful).I was dropped here by the previous driver. Loads of space to stop. No shade. Very slow traffic.
After 10 minutes wait, the first passing car stopped and took me to Zagon. Not far but over the crucial gravel part of the road.

One male 40+, no sign, one big backpack, a sunny day. On my way from lake Siriu to Covasna (successful).I wasn't sure if any of two shortcuts works. The maps were showing long times due to partly gravel roads. I was standing before the fork to cover both options. There was shade and a bit of space to pull over. But the traffic was slow enough that they actually didn't need any extra space to stop.
After 10 minutes one guy, speaking English, stopped and ensured me that the shortest way was perfectly drivable. He was going only a couple of kms, but did a few extra miles for me and dropped me at the end of the tarmac.
