(2 people, f, 26 + m, 49)This service station has good traffic to the north, especially towards Suceava and people also stop to eat here.
However, we tried to go northwest towards Putna on a Sunday evening and it was horrible because people barely spoke English and even with a explanatory Romanian text on the phone it took repeated tiring conversations before the drivers realized that we were hitchhikers and wanted a ride from them. Also many people seemed to be on vacation and did not want to take us. We got frustrated after 90 mins and started walking.

(2 people, f, 26 + m, 49)We got dropped off here after a short lift on a Sunday evening and wanted to continue north but no-one wanted to take us. Most traffic seems to be local so lifts tend to be short if you are lucky to get one.

(2 people, f, 26 + m, 49)We split up. One of us approached drivers at the gas station while the other tried hitching from the side of the road. One car stopped and asked for money. Shorty after got a lift us to Suceava from the side of the road. The driver was very kind and took a huge detour. He brought us to the station just in time to hop on our train.

(2 people, f, 26 + m, 49)Tried our luck on Monday morning in the opposite direction. We decided that it's to hard to hitch to Putna from here and wanted to take the train from Suceava instead. Got a lift after ten minutes which took us half the way. There is a bakery and a convenience store on that corner. Traffic is slow and cars have plenty of space to stop.

(2 people, f, 26 + m, 49)Put out our thumb while walking down the road and got a lift here after 10 mins to Spataresti.
