One male 40+, no sign, one big backpack, an autumn like day, chilly with on-and-off rain. On my way from Suceava to Reghin (successful).I was walking to the end the village and hitchhike. In 5 minuts I got a ride. Of course only to the next village. Again 🙄 (That day it took me nearly 5 hours and 6 rides to go 100 kms). In the end, to avoid the walk in Vama and most likely in Campulung, I decided to by bypass those places and I went with the driver to Vatra Moldoviței. Which was a very good decision. Plus I visited the monaster.

I've found this spot which wasn't too good. Very little space to stop, quite busy traffic and rain. To my surprise after one minute a car stopped and I got a ride to the next village. Again 🙄 And the whole day was painful like that. Not only because of rain. But it seems that nobody goes long distances here. It took me nearly 5 hours and 6 rides to go the first 100 kms. A short ride, dropped in the centre of the next village, walk to the end of village, hitchhike, ride to the next village....

This time I waited 20 minutes.
But the whole day was a painful. Not only because of rain. But it seems that nobody goes long distances here. It took me nearly 5 hours and 6 rides to go the first 100 kms. A short ride, dropped in the centre of the next village, walk to the end of village, hitchhike, ride to the next village....

On my way from Nowy Sołoniec to Suceava (successful).I got a short ride to this village and I started to walk to the end of it to hitchhike there. But then I thought I can put a thumb while I'm walking. A superb good decision it was indeed. The first car, within a minute, stopped and he gave me a ride all the way to Suceava, to the district I was heading to.
It was a bolt driver (without the signs on a car). The ride was free.

After a few hundreds meters and in less than 10 minutes I got a ride to the next village.

On my way from Suceava to Cacica (successful).I was dropped at the nearby junction and starter hitchhiking while walking up north. After a couple of minutes I got a ride to Cacica. The guy wasn't going exactly to that village but he did a couple of extra kilometres and dropped me there.

One male 40+, no sign, one small shoulder bag, a cloudy day (about to rain). On my way from Suceava to Cacica (successful).A very good spot for those heading west. There are two extra tarmac lanes (an entry and an exit of some industrial company). Very rarely used. A few lorries can stop there. No shade. Decent visibility. There is no a payment for the last few hundreds meters, but the shoulder of the road is wide enough to walk there.
I got a lift to Păltinoasa after 3 minutes.
