One male 40+, no sign, one big backpack, an autumn like day, chilly with on-and-off rain. On my way from Suceava to Reghin (successful).It's my second time using this spot, check the description in the previous review.
This time I waited 20 minutes.
But the whole day was a painful. Not only because of rain. But it seems that nobody goes long distances here. It took me nearly 5 hours and 6 rides to go the first 100 kms. A short ride, dropped in the centre of the next village, walk to the end of village, hitchhike, ride to the next village....

On my way from Nowy Sołoniec to Suceava (successful).I got a short ride to this village and I started to walk to the end of it to hitchhike there. But then I thought I can put a thumb while I'm walking. A superb good decision it was indeed. The first car, within a minute, stopped and he gave me a ride all the way to Suceava, to the district I was heading to.
It was a bolt driver (without the signs on a car). The ride was free.

One male 40+, no sign, one small shoulder bag, a cloudy day (about to rain). On my way from Suceava to Cacica (successful).A very good spot for those heading west. There are two extra tarmac lanes (an entry and an exit of some industrial company). Very rarely used. A few lorries can stop there. No shade. Decent visibility. There is no a payment for the last few hundreds meters, but the shoulder of the road is wide enough to walk there.
I got a lift to Păltinoasa after 3 minutes.

One male 40+, no sign, one big backpack, a sunny afternoon. On my way from Iaşi to Suceava (successful).That road between Târgu Frumos and Botoșani is going slowly. People seem to go only to the next village and the traffic isn't very busy. Maybe the road through Fălticeni is faster.
I was dropped in this village after another short ride. I was walking to the end of it to find a spot. It was getting late, so I decided to hitchhike while walking. And it was a very good decision. Whitin 10 minutes I got a ride at this spot all the way to Suceava.

spot right after traffic light makes people go slow and gives them time to consider taking you.traffic is good and that's basically the only way out of suceava towards radauti.

(2 people, f, 26 + m, 49)We split up. One of us approached drivers at the gas station while the other tried hitching from the side of the road. One car stopped and asked for money. Shorty after got a lift us to Suceava from the side of the road. The driver was very kind and took a huge detour. He brought us to the station just in time to hop on our train.
