We thumbed at the petrol station and the Lidl exit, but seemed like everyone was local traffic. We decided to try the exit of the nearby IKEA instead, with a sign for Librilla, and most was still local traffic - but quite soon a local helped us out.―mossenmoons

Take bus 36 to Santomera (instructions on wiki). You can get lifts in either direction, heading north/east is very easy.―Anonymous

good option for direccion Valencia. If you want to go to Barcelona, try to find a lift that surpases Valencia or a lift that takes the paid highway following the coastline since people that go long distance to Barcelona are more likely to take this route.―Janpa

We were waiting there like 6 hours to get to Granada. No one was going... After that time we decided to come back to Murcia.―Anonymous

Have been here for over 12 hours. Getting lifts to Almeria are frequent but not many lorrys/cars head to Granada and it is impossible to get as far as Seville in one lift. we are a group of 3, however single travellers aiming for Granada will have more success as Spanish lorry drivers don't take the safety risk of no seats for passengers―Anonymous

Big roundabout before the highways, with a small petrol station. A lot of Local traffic going to the malls, not very good spot. Waited 5h, nigh came, slept in the park nearby. Next morning a local at the gas station helped us out driving us out of his way to a huge gas station in the highway towards Valencia.―Anonymous
