You can EITHER ask on the gas station OR stand behind the gas station witha sign (there are a lot of cars entering the big road).There are a lot of local people who go to places nearby like Malianio, el Corte Ingles or Astillero but also people going to Torrelavega, Solares, Bilbao and so on.
If you want to go direction Bilbao: You need at least somebody until Solares, because there is a good petrol petrol OR you can stand next to the entry to the high way.

(Direction Bilbao) Some police officer suggested me and my friend this place after telling us that the gas station was too dangerous (the gas station I talk about is the one with many reviews). Although this, the place kinda sucks. Just a lot of internal traffic close to a mall.
