I just tried this spot and didn't like it very much. There's not that much space for cars to stop. I just walked 50 meters before the roundabout, cars can stop easily there.―Divagueame

I stood in the round about on my way to Oviedo and waited 2 hours just to get a 20 km ride.―Kobjak

Use this spot if you want to get to the west on the A-8. There's space enough to pull off. The traffic isn't very big, but people who enter here usually go on longer drives.―Anonymous

Hitchhike here if you want to head to the west on the A-8. Just after the bridge there's a small space for the cars to pull off and stop. Perfect for short distances, can work for bigger ones as well (depends on the season). Use the rush-hours in the morning and early-afternoon.―Anonymous

Hitched a ride in no time to Torrelavega from here. Just stand in the roundabout, before the entrance there's some space for the cars to stop.―Anonymous

(Direction Bilbao) Some police officer suggested me and my friend this place after telling us that the gas station was too dangerous (the gas station I talk about is the one with many reviews). Although this, the place kinda sucks. Just a lot of internal traffic close to a mall. We waited for a long time till someone told us that it wasn’t a great idea to hitchhike there and brought us back to the city. We waited both with the thumb and with a sign.―Marco

It’s a good spot (stop bus), lot of cars go in torrelavega, on the sign we write Leon and torrelavega, one man took us to torrelavega. Maybe it’s better if you write palencia 🤷♂️―Timeo

Not a lot of place for the car but it’s possible before the autoroute. To go in the south you have 2 options, autoroute or national. We waited 10 min to go in the south !―Timeo

There is some space before the roundabout for the cars to pull over. However it's not the easiest hitchhikers place. Spaniards don't really want to take strangers:( patience required―ury

We got super lucky with a direct car to Santander, but it is not such a busy petrol station, but still the best option I guess to get North from Cordoba.―Anonymous

Not a good Spot. I got lucky with a woman, who was passionate about hitchhiking and excited to help. She took me somewhere not so helpfull (El Astillero). The Gasstation 10m away is also no good for traveling to Laredo or beyond. Lots of Local traffic. The day before I spent 2 hours in evening traffic asking many people there, but with no luck. If you speak spanish, it may be different.Thursday @ 07:30 with sign Loredo
