Cara are very slow thanks to a speed bump. Not too much space for stopping but enough.Used a 5km sign to get at least on the next service area on the highway but git a ride to Denmark anyway.―Tobias

!!! TEMPORARY SPOT !!!Only possible to hitchhike because of the roadworks. Basically the whole highway traffic going to Göteborg and Malmö passing next to you at a slow speed with a reasonable place to stop.

Theoretically a good spot, but we had no luck, no one even stop, we started in the rush hour on a weekday with a sign Oslo―Tiggy

Good spot to go to Götenborg, but not so good to go further. Not a lot of cars passing by, but several cars stopped until a guy eventually proposed to take us past Götenborg.―JumpingRabbit

A guy and a girl without a sign. We arrived on a Thursday evening and hitchhiked for about an hour without anyone taking us. We slept a bit north in the small village and got a ride to Götenborg in the morning. Not the best spot as cars go quite fast, but there is an emergency lane for cars to stop.―JumpingRabbit

Pretty nice spot but not a lot of people are stopping. Got lucky.―Anonymous

I mean if you want to get out of airport this is probably the best spot because you also catch the traffic from mcdonalds which turned out good for me because the couple picked me up to goteborg from there.―kiausiniuvagis

Big rest area with a petrol station, toilets, and options to camp. Good for getting a ride to Malmö or Denmark. At the petrol station you can charge your phone and sit.―roadlifehacks

Ok this is not the best advice. though hopefully you can derriive some infomation from it; from the city take tram 4 Mölndal directionI took it to Mölndal sjukhus
because thats where i was staying at the time; anyways when u get out the highway will be across the road with some fences inbetween; u should just keep walking in the direction of the tram; pasrt the station after you should be able to get to the side of the higway further along should be on and off ramp with a round about, i stood here for 20 mins untill some nice swedish mum in a volvo took me further along, to another intersection and from their i got a ride to Malmö port and hitch hiked to Hamburg that same day: sorry i cant be more exact but when you do get some one to stop for you in sweden just plead with them to take you to best place they know for you otherwise sweden is a bit difficult: goodluck folk

Me and my buddy hitched from this spot twice, once to Oslo and once to Stockholm...didn't wait longer than 30mins...lots of traffic and a bus stop to pull into.―Anonymous

A very good spot for hitching to South. Got a ride in 10 mins. There´s a big drive in for the cars to pull into.―Anonymous

made a mistake standing here for Jonkoping, cars are led over highway E20 and then directly to road 40. So senseless to stand here.―Anonymous

I agree, most likely the best place in Gothenburg for south-going traffic. Don´t turn down any short hitches to Kungsbacka, since there´s an excellent resting place/gas station on the way.―Anonymous
