It took me just a few minutes to find a Polish truck heading to the island of Fyn in Denmark. This spot is nice, and there are plenty of cars here.

Great spot, there is a lot of cars going to Denmark. I got a polish truck going all the way to the Fyn island, which was good spot as well.

I think this is not a bad spot, but maybe I just got lucky. Two Iranian guys took me, all the way to Malmö they were really nice. It isn't really a great one, but one of the best in this area.

I remember my sister's bad experience at this parking area before—she and her husband had to wait for a ride for more than 24 hours. I was lucky that day and got a ride to Gothenburg in just 15 minutes. The car was originally going to Oslo, but they offered me a lift to Gothenburg. All the other cars were full.

This is where I end up trying to get out of malmo. not a too good spot, but okay. Usually imigrants pick me up. Accessible by bus number 7, you can walk here from svagertorp station.

Cars have a high speed and depending on time of day they may not be many. I waited for 20 min.
Get here by train or bus to Malmö Syd Svångertorp station and walk the last 300 m.

best opportunity to get a ride to malmö and further. stand alongside the road. if you were not lucky to directly get a ride from the ferry just walk along the road westwards, there's a small petrol station as well but doesn't work well. usually in the morning there is much traffic to malmö - tourists from the ferry and working people. sometimes needs some patience.

I hitchhiked a car going on the ferry to Sassnitz. I had to pay 195 Swedish crowns (€20). Aparently, Stena Lines introduced a fee for changing the amount of passengers on the car. The fee is more than what you pay to just take the ferry.

Tried to hitch to Rostock with the 08.00 ferry, was at the spot at 06.45 and left at 07.30 without any luck. I recommend trying to hitch the 15.00 ferry instead.

When cruising with TT-Line and Scandlines/Stena Line the driver can add additional passengers at the check-in free of charge, but most of them don't know that.

I've been here, the third car I asked went my way and haven't booked the ticket so they took me. As we were waiting for the ferry I asked a guy and he took me further to Prague ;)
