A guy and a girl without a sign on a Thursday afternoon. Not a really bad spot, but not really good for cars to stop. A guy eventually took us to Lomma, a bit further North to get us out of here.

A guy and a girl without a sign on a Thursday at noon. Seems to be a very good spot to go to Sweden. We wanted to go to Oslo, but we accepted the first ride that took us East of Malmö. We should have waited a bit longer to go further north though, as there must be a lot of people going everywhere in Sweden that pass through here, and Sweden is hard to hitchhike...

It took me just a few minutes to find a Polish truck heading to the island of Fyn in Denmark. This spot is nice, and there are plenty of cars here.

Great spot, there is a lot of cars going to Denmark. I got a polish truck going all the way to the Fyn island, which was good spot as well.

I think this is not a bad spot, but maybe I just got lucky. Two Iranian guys took me, all the way to Malmö they were really nice. It isn't really a great one, but one of the best in this area.

This is where I end up trying to get out of malmo. not a too good spot, but okay. Usually imigrants pick me up. Accessible by bus number 7, you can walk here from svagertorp station.

im not exactly sure about the location, but somewhere here there is a Mc Donalds and a gas staion where many ppl stop. Try to find a local who can give you a lift there in case you got strandet at Innre Ringen like i did. From the gas station I got a lift to my destination (in the middle of nowhere on the countrysite in sweden) by just asking ppl. Pls only ask ppl at the gas station, otherwise in sweden you dont have much chance for a lift.

A busstop to Malmo. Waited here 2 hours to go to Götenborg(and eventually anywhere better than this place). I tried different signes and no signs, it didn't helped. Take with you some Swedish Kronas so you could take the bus.

Cars have a high speed and depending on time of day they may not be many. I waited for 20 min.
Get here by train or bus to Malmö Syd Svångertorp station and walk the last 300 m.

best opportunity to get a ride to malmö and further. stand alongside the road. if you were not lucky to directly get a ride from the ferry just walk along the road westwards, there's a small petrol station as well but doesn't work well. usually in the morning there is much traffic to malmö - tourists from the ferry and working people. sometimes needs some patience.

It might be a little tight for some drivers to stop.. BUt it's an alright place to hitch.. though many are going to trelleborg and not to denmark. Use a sign with DK written on it or something

Seems to be the place to go to Malmö Airport (Sturup) or eastward towards Ystad. Picked up within 10 mins.
