Drivers are quite a bit stressed and won't really pay attention to you, if there is a queue it's great so you can ask politely and explain that they won't have any extra fees. Not much traffic when I went so you just have to wait (if you go by feet the ticket is around 7€ so I'd suggest not wasting too much time here if it's not working)―alatrix

really nice spot to get andelholm: a lot of cars and place to spot before the bus station.place yourself on the grass or on the bus area (like on the road, cars can see u easily)

really nice spot to get to sweden by a ferry !!i found a guy with a boat that just drop me in holsinbourg with him on his boat 😸😸
btw a lot of cars on that spot and space for cars to stop just in front of the gas station.
place yourself on the bicyle line
(if u find no one try to get to the ferry before and ask cars to enter to get the ferry for free - the guy told me to do that at first)

A guy and a girl without a sign. We arrived on a Thursday evening and hitchhiked for about an hour without anyone taking us. We slept a bit north in the small village and got a ride to Götenborg in the morning. Not the best spot as cars go quite fast, but there is an emergency lane for cars to stop.―JumpingRabbit

I was walking toward the on ramp in Helsinborg direction and waving at cars and to my surprise, one of them actually stopped. Also, there is a comfortable field by trees nearby for sleeping if arrive late to this place.―martih
