A guy and a girl without a sign. We arrived on a Thursday evening and hitchhiked for about an hour without anyone taking us. We slept a bit north in the small village and got a ride to Götenborg in the morning. Not the best spot as cars go quite fast, but there is an emergency lane for cars to stop.―JumpingRabbit

Got dropped off here. A lot of traffic, but nobody going north toward Helsingborg or Gotenborg. Avoid it if possible in favor of service station a few kms north on E6.―Anonymous

Also got ride to Norrköping from here within 45 min (Sign saying "Norrköping"). I'd say it's the best place to jump off and switch cars if you're heading north on the E4.―Pletter

If going south, you should try to get somebody past Malmö or even Kobenhagen, because otherwise it could get difficult for you. Nice spot.―Santa klaus

* should say värnamo instead of växsjö above. there is a good spot in värnamo with burger king, mcdonalds etc. to get the last ride to stockholm.―Anonymous

quiet good point... if we can say that for the Swedish community...I had the opportunity after 30 min to get on Gothenburg but I didnt accept it because I was toward Stockholm E 4.
Good point anyway... just don't wait at the exit... go an talk with the ppl on the gas station.

i've used this spot 3-4 times for going malmö to stockholm. from what i know it is the easiest way to get out of malmö. I ask to go to växsjö or all the way to stockholm. waiting time is 30min to 1h30min. When longer waiting time it is often because i'm selective so i get the whole way to stockholm in one ride.―Anonymous

We (two guys and a girl) got a lift from here all the way to Narvik, about 2000 km away (the longest lift i have ever had)! We stood right after the roundabout where cars can stop easily. It took us around 15 minutes to get a ride.―Arno Nuem

Very nice place!We were here twice (couple): once on way north, once on way south. THERE IS FREE HOT SHOWER on the west-side station and nice field to camp on east-side station. Village is nice and you can go for a nice walk to see the sea.
Getting a ride to Malmo is easy, going north is a bit harder though - we got to station about 40 km before Gotenborg.
