I believe this is a great one for Svappavaara and going south. Visibility is good, cars are not so slow, but there is a good space to pull over (bus stop). It took a pretty long time, but you are in Sweden after all. Traffic light as expected in the north.―martih

Not a hitchhiking spot, I was dropped off here, cars are going pretty fast, and there is a spot to pull over, but not a lot. I decided to walk to a better one after around half an hour and started thumbing as I went. After less than 10 minutes, a cool dude stopped.―martih

Abisko is very beautiful place for nature but not for hitchhiking me and my friend on different days waited for two hours. Most of the cars are full or campers. When i was trying the traffic was pretty good but still noone stoped. And I woudl say this spot maybe better than Abisko town itself because cars go slower here and thete is more space to stop(bus stop)―kiausiniuvagis

OK spot but still the best on Kiruna for that direction. The guardrail ends about 100 meters from the intersection and then people can stop on the shoulder of the road quite easily. Good visibility and they aren't going too fast yet.―Anonymous
