Good visibility and most cars going at least to Abisko. Got a ride even in the dark with folks going to Narvik.

OK spot but still the best on Kiruna for that direction. The guardrail ends about 100 meters from the intersection and then people can stop on the shoulder of the road quite easily. Good visibility and they aren't going too fast yet.

Good spot, decent visibility and people aren't driving fast.

To go back to Kiruna just stay at the bus stop, or try to ask at the parking of the Ice Hotel

West: It's not a bad place since both the cars coming from the city and from the E10 can see you and stop, but most of them are still local traffic, so I would rather suggest to walk a couple of km down the E10

West: this is the best Place in Kiruna to go toward Abisko-Narvik. From here you have good change to take a long ride since there is no more local traffic. Cars are not going superslow, but the road is straight and they can see you and stop

East: from here you can easily take a ride to jukkasjarvi or further east on the E10

(Winter) Direction South-West. Some people will drop you here stating this is the E10, but in fact this is the old E10, so you might want to walk a bit to the real one to get the rides, but anyways this Statoil petrol station is very busy and it took us about an hour or two to get a ride till Töre (where E10 and E4 meet in the coast)

You can get a ride from here to Gallivare or more south. Cars are slow and there is some place to stop as well.

Got a ride to Kiruna almost instant. Good in winter, might be more difficult with more traffic.
