(Winter - Direction E4 South) The Shell petrol station is open 24 hours and has Wifi for free, also some computers with maps to check, very useful. The place itself might be good as 1,5km up the road is the E4, but we got a ride to another place in the city to get a ride easily.―Anonymous

Not that many cars in the afternoon, tried asking around for 1 hour with no luck. Then decided to walk northeast towards the bus stop 1km away, after waiting there for 45 minutes got a lift to Haparanda. Anyway this rest stop has good place to camp if you arrive here in the evening, also aparently a good fishing spot.―Venick8827

Both E4 and the ramp have little traffic towards south, so it's advisable to try to catch cars from both, long speeding lane and pretty comfortable place for drivers to stop, but due to traffic density expect 20-40 minutes of wait time―estohiker

Towards south, good spot, very good visibility from highway, and the local road drivers go slow that turn from the port, got a car within couple minutes -probably more likely of 20 minutes wait times, decent place to pull over even at winter, and by now all the local cars are gone, so most likely will get a ride to Skelleftea the least―estohiker

Very difficult spot towards south direction, cars enter already fast and more down near the roundabout there was no space at all (during winter at least), lot's of traffic but nobody seemed to stop (also a lot of traffic just turns off anyways at the next junction) wait times of 100+ minutes to be expected if you dare to be here, but I'd rather just walk a bit more south―estohiker
