A bit back on the Kars-Erzurum highway it's also a good enough spot for rides towards Erzurum.―Tomtom

direction to Ardahan and Posof. Good visibility, friendly locals. There might be no enough shade here if you hitchhike in summer months. Overall, okay place.―Anonymous

Direction: Kars, Erzurum, Van. Very easy to get a ride with one of the Turkish/Kurdish truck drivers. In our case they just chatted us up and took to Kars (could've gone with him all the way to Gaziantep, but wanted to explore the area).―k9f100

Very lucky, but the hitchspot pretty good. Maybe go little bit closer to the center of city but stay on the main road. A truck took me, all the way to Kars.―Stepan010305
