Great hitch spot! There is even some shade from the trees. Only tricky thing is that there are two lanes, so it can be hard for someone in the far land to pull over fast enough. Good idea to stand at the beginning of the turnout if possible. My ride, who happened to be in the far lane, was so determined to stop for me that he pulled over AFTER the turnout and walked back to get me! I had a sign for Devon, and ended up with a ride to Glastonbury, where I’d been told I should go if possible. Beauty.

A4069 towards Llandovery. A bit fast traffic, but the nice shoulder here gives them an opportunity to stop.

Few cars, nobody wanted to stop. Waited what felt like an hour. Finally after much convincing a Romanian couple took us a few miles down the road.

Not much place for cars to stop, but we got lucky, someone pulled over on roundabout right away and got us out of crosshands where we'd been stuck for 3 hours
