Decently busy road. Cars can pull into the entrance into the inn. You could also get cars coming out of the carpark. Got us right into city centre―Freddie35

Not the best spot but there is a place to stop and if you are really struglling its a bus stop (there is no signs but it is) so you can catch a bus. Carw going pretty fast and a bit uphill so probably not the most keen to catch. I was during ofseason so not that much traffic but eventually somebody should stop but this is not that rural road that everyone would pick you up―kiausiniuvagis

Think the general lack of drivers picking people up has taken the shine off this spot. Got a ride to Kinross services which was great!―Ryancomet

Fantastic spot! Great traffic flow on a Saturday. Bring a sign because traffic could be going a lot of different directions.―Ryancomet

Somewhere her is supposed to be a Garage. Got from here a lift to Manchester in 45 minutes of waiting. A sign is useful.―Anonymous

Towards Perth. Take a bus from the centre of Edinburgh towards Queens Ferry road, get out at the juction with Maybury road and walk along the raod while you find a decent spot to hitch. If you have time before hitchhiking, I suggest a walk along the River Almond.―Anonymous
