Not a prime spot. The west road going directly onto the motorway is fast with no ideal spot for a car to stop. The north road allows a car to stop though but much less traffic passing on it. My lift did come from the west road and pulled just off the road onto the grass so not entirely impossible just inconvenient.

Petrol station and Greggs. Great for asking around for a lift but it’s also on a busy road so I waited at the station exit to try and catch both. There’s a road and car park just above the station for someone to pull into

Direction south to the M5: there is no Shoulder for a car to stop and a dense traffic, so the place is a bit harsh but manageable in the right condition

There is a little snack bar along the road with possibility to talk to people or the space for a potential car to pull aside (there is also a bus stop between that spot and the roundabout but the visibility is low)

Junction 25 is horrible : very cramped and difficult for cars to stop. dense traffic from 7 am to 7 pm . best avoided
