A much used spot for hitching out of Knoxville. When I was there, the side of the road was littered with signs of people who had hitched there before, and it's right next to a large truck stop. It's very useful to have a sign that indicates whether you are going to be taking I-40 or I-75.―Anonymous

Not a great spot. Waited 2 hours and got hassled by police. But there is plenty of room for cars to pull over, you'll get a lift here to a better on ramp further west at least, just might take some time.―Anonymous

Real easy to get rides west from here, took less than five mins. Best to have a sign indicating which highway you intend to take.―Anonymous
